BC COVID Vaccine Card
To our valued guests, we have important restaurant updates for you. The changing mandates throughout the pandemic are a new challenge for our teams, just as it has been for you. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we get through this together.
New vaccine mandate for restaurants
As of Monday, September 13, 2021, the Public Health Order is requiring restaurant guests to provide proof of the COVID-19 vaccine to be allowed for indoor and patio dining. Customers who are picking up takeout or ordering for delivery are not required to provide proof of vaccination. Our restaurant must abide by these mandates to ensure the safety of our guests and community.
Here is the Public Health Order Mandate:
By order of the PHO, some events, services and businesses are required to check a person's proof of vaccination for access to their venue or space. This applies to all people born in 2009 or earlier (12+).
Starting September 13, you must verify that people have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. By October 24, you must verify that people are fully vaccinated.
Failure to follow the PHO order may result in a fine. The requirement is in place until January 31, 2022, and could be extended.
Places proof of vaccination is required for entry
Indoor ticketed sporting events
Indoor concerts, theatre, dance and symphony events
Licensed restaurants and restaurants that offer table service (indoor and patio dining)
Pubs, bars and lounges (indoor and patio dining)
Nightclubs, casinos and movie theatres
Gyms, exercise facilities/studios and recreation facilities
Businesses offering indoor group exercise
Indoor adult group and team sports for people 19 years old or older

How it works
Guests will need to provide proof of their BC Vaccination card upon entry. From September 13-26, 2021, guests can use their vaccination records that they received at BC vaccine clinics or pharmacies as valid proof of vaccination. Starting September 27, 2021, only the BC Vaccine Card will be accepted via a mobile phone, scannable QR code, or hard copy.
We appreciate you
The pandemic has created a lot of challenges for the restaurant industry. We understand that not everyone will agree with the BC Vaccine Card, but our restaurant must abide by the Public Health Orders that are in place. Thank you to everyone who has supported us during these uncertain times. We cannot put into words how grateful we are for all of our staff, supportive guests, and local community.
With love,
Team Dominion
